Troubleshooting Guide

LITTLE OR NO WATER PRESSURE

Step 1:  Check that the water supply is adequate and turned on. If the machine has a water tank, be sure that it is full and the suction strainer is clear.

Step 2:  Remove the nozzle tip from the end of the wand and check for water flow.  If there is a steady stream of water, check the nozzle tip for an obstruction. If unable to determine if the nozzle tip is good or bad, then replace it with a new nozzle tip.

Step 3:  Turn off the soap valve and put the soap tube into a pail of water. Make sure the machine is not trying to draw soap with the soap valve closed; this would indicate the soap valve is not shutting off and needs to be replaced.

Step 4:  Re-prime the pump. Put the soap tube into a pail of water and open the soap valve. Remove the pressure hose from the trigger gun. Turn the pump on and pump clear water. Put the gun back onto the hose and retry.

Step 5:  Remove check valves in the pump. Look for any dirt or debris in the valve or under the valve seat. Make sure the check valve seat is free and not stuck together. Repeat Step 4.

If the problem still remains, call 1-800-447-1226 for the Service Department and we will dispatch a Service Technician to take care of your problem.

NO HEAT OR SMOKEY BURNER

Step 1:  Check the fuel tank for adequate fuel. There must be a minimum of 2" of fuel in the tank.

Step 2:  If the machine has an adjustable temp control, check that the setting is at least 100 degrees or higher.

Step 3:  If you see unburned fuel vapors coming from the exhaust, STOP IMMEDIATELY.  DO NOT OPERATE THE MACHINE!  SEVERE FIRE HAZARD!  Call 1-800-447-1226 for the Service Department and we will dispatch a Service Technician to take care of your problem.

GROUND FAULT WILL NOT RESET OR KEEPS POPPING

Step 1:  Check the machine and make sure it is dry. If the machine is wet, allow plenty of time for it to dry. Place the machine inside a warm dry building. Use low pressure compressed air to assist in drying the machine.

Step 2:  Check the power source for proper voltage and adequate amperage size.

Step 3:  Do not use an extension cord until you have checked with our Service Department to determine the proper size and length.

If the problem still remains, call 1-800-447-1226 for the Service Department and we will dispatch a Service Technician to take care of your problem.

WARNING

Removal or replacement of the male plug on the GFCI cord assembly IMMEDIATELY voids your warranty and may make the machine unsafe to operate.

If you are still experiencing difficulty operating your machine, call 1-800-447-1226 for the Service Department and we will dispatch a Service Technician to take care of your problem.
